This is a follow-up question to my earlier question about spam.
Listen, there are enough of us out there that are extremely computer savy...don't you think if we all banned together we could stop the spammers? Maybe create some great program or something...that we could use and/or sell to the isp's etc.? There must be a way to stop the spammers someday!

The problem is in keeping out the bad stuff, yet keeping the good stuff. Spam is getting more and more sophisticated. If the ISPs instituted some sort of verification code (so as to keep automated emailers away), then it may cut down on some.

Stop buying their stuff. The only reason spam exists is because it makes money for the spammers.

That's already been done. It's called Spam Blocker. Most email programs use some type of this. I never see Spam, unless I open my Spam folder (and I never do).
