Yes, indeed. For Jews and Christians, God created sex and told us to do it: "Be fruitful and multiply" (Genesis 1:28). Humans "become one flesh" when they recognize the fulfillment of themselves in their sexual partner (Genesis 2:23-24). Furthermore, the Bible has a whole book celebrating human sexuality (The Song of Songs). So, anyone who thinks that God inspired the Bible has got to think that God wanted us to enjoy sex.

That still leaves open, of course, the question of the context that sex is to be placed in. God does not want us to enjoy sex that is forced on someone else, for example. To say that sex is good is NOT the same thing as saying that sex can't possibly be anything but good.

Aw, hell naw. The Catholic Church says this? I wasn't aware...
anyway that's a bunch of you know what, what the Catholic Church says about that.
Sex should be enjoyed as long as it;s legal, and moral and it doesn't have to do with any "baby-making" purposes.
Not everyone can or want to have kids...

God, if God exists, is rather indifferent to whether we enjoy sex or not. There are a great many people, however, who weigh in on the subject, claiming to speak for God.

yes God created sex and wants us to enjoy it in the confines of marriage. He created our bodies so why else would He have created our bodys to enjoy it if He didn't want us to? he only made it for marriage though!!!

If it wasn't for that 3 inches, men would have nothing to do with women.

I'm sure he does or he would want the human race to die out, 'cause if sex was painful, no one would do it

He created sex, didn't he?

Did He not call His creation good?

I believe he does; but as you may know the "sensation" that comes from it is being abused. I think he intends us to have it when we are planing to have kids.
