I started at the question that was on top. I then went down one question after another and through each page until the questions were marked as having been posted for an hour.

Also, I have never heard an Atheist state that their religion was one of love...I seen that claim in many Protestant Christian questions and answers.

BTW, I am a Pagan and an Elder of the Lore. Something 99% of Christians don't even know exists. I am not part of your internecine wars and hatreds.

Also, I can never call someone ignorant that has never truly been given the freedom to learn. Freedom of wil just doesn't do that job.

wow.

this definitely proves that there is such a thing as stupid questions. (Not all of them are stupid in that list, but some of them were)

but not just in R&S, but also in all categories.

Clearly you had an objective and sought out to accomplish your goal.

Did you start out an hour ago seeking such questions to prove your predetermined point of view?

There is a psychological effect which studies have concluded exist in humans. It is called confirmation bias. It is sometimes known as belief bias or selective thinking. Whereby one tends to disregard facts in an objective manner so as to promulgate his preconceived ideas. Even when there is evidence which contradicts the preconception, such are simply thrown out.

Your views of Protestant Christians as hateful, aggressive, and paranoid existed before your hourlong session.

My religious views are not important here.

What is important is your view that hatred can be combatted with hatred in return. Protestant aggression can be countered by your own aggression in posting your question.

One must remember that we all praise the same God.

Divisions of that one God are made by man.

When you choose to divide God into a Catholic God or a Protestant God or an Islamic God, you only serve to divide God's creation. We are ALL of God.

To end hatred, we can only begin with ourselves.

If you are the path to righteousness then allow yourself to serve as an example of God. Express love and compassion and forgiveness and acceptance towards others regardless of their race or religion.

Yes.

the modern movement is a bunch of paranoid weirdos who are really just insecure little b*****s.

30 years ago it wasnt that bad. But then Athiets and all sorts of Heathens told all the christians to go screw themeselves becuse they were not going to play nice. That they were going to worship (or not) however they felt was best.

Catholics, mormons, and a couple other groups got over it. Becuse they had leadership and realized that most of these "blasphmers" where not turning very far away from the ideas that christianity brought and helped cultivate into strong principal.

The protestants didn't. They still have no leadership. They are mob rule. which means you dont have a proven leader to make the mob settle down. All you have are poplar pastors. They get popular by telling people what they want to hear.

I am generalizing.I admit it, there are protestants and other such folk who are not terrible.

If you are still offended there is a good chance you do not belong with the minority who do follow Jesus's word.

Which was to love everybody regardless of faith, but try to make them christian.

Ah, I feel like answering a whole conglomeration of questions, today... what a perfect moment! XD

btw, you might want to put in the word 'most', because a handul of christians are smart and they don't do ask things like that.

#1- I guess you could say that, yes. They don't like the fact that science came along and practically shattered the ground they stood on thanks to logic. Why do you think most don't believe in science?

#2- In a way, Yes and No. It isn't christian to say such things, since they're the ones who are supposed to take gods word, which is supposedly 'Love they neighbor as I have loved you'. Seeing how it is most christians operate these days, however, from what they're showing us, its also christian to only believe in the parts of the bible you want to believe in, like 'no gays', they believe in that, but they don't believe in 'Let he who is without sin, cast the first stone'.

#3- As far as I've seen, there really is no such thing. There CAN be, and I'm sure there are, I just haven't seen them. The reason why they would be immoral is if they showed immoral ideas, like 'Those who believe in god are going to go to hell!', but it doesn't make sense for him to say that, as I'm sure most atheists know. Why? Because atheists don't believe in higher beings, or creationism. Scared atheists could be found due to the fact that there are cults out there who probably kill atheists for not believing in what they believe. I'm sure they exist in one place or another. As for arrogant, I can see that happening if the atheist constantly repeated, 'There is no god, because I said so.'. However, most atheists have logic backing them up, so they don't really turn out to be arrogant.

#4- As to atheists will reply 'What god are you talking about? There is no god! Are you feeling emotionally insecure?'

#5- It doesn't say anything about it as such. I challenge any christian to see if they can find such a verse. For once in a long time, I would love to stand corrected, seeing as how it is people only respond to me about my answers with 'Go suck a c ock, f ag!' or 'Well, I believe in god, so I'm right and you're wrong!' (It's not a joke.)

#6- Because they want to put their two cents in too. If they feel they can make a difference (like how christians answer questions in the LGBT section, 'David'.), let them.

#7- Unfortunately, I haven't had the chance to read that book. I would've read it at a younger age, but my parents banned me from reading it (now I know why.)

#8- I don't think the 'Light Bringer' was so much jealous of god, so much as it was that he wanted to try and be on equal terms with god. He wanted power, as I'm sure anyone does.

#9- Same question, same answer.

#10- Because they want to know why people have such illogical beliefs.

#11- No idea what you're talking about, I'll look it up later. It looks interesting though, unfortunately, I'm loaded with homework. ;_;

Byebye!

I am not confrontational, hateful, or aggressive.

I could very easily do the same thing you are doing with questions asked by atheists.
If you are interested, you can find just as many or more posted by atheists that are hateful, confrontational, etc.

However, I have too much class to do that.

It works both ways....

Those words fit many people of many faiths, sadly.

Have you spent just as much time compiling similar attitudes from Atheists, Muslims, Catholics and Jews, or do you have a particular bias against just one group?

If you look for the negative, you'll find it.

If you look for respect, dignity, and dialogue, you'll find that too.

It's all a matter of what you focus on.

I wouldn't say ALL Christians are that way....one thing I can group a lot of them into is hypocritical since my family;y were good church going "Christians" out in the open but were abusers of alcohol, physical abusers with each other and their children behind closed doors.

I would add ignorant and ill-informed to the list. Maybe brainwashed or easily manipulated as well.

Did someone really ask if Islam was created by satan? That person should be absolutely ashamed, as should the society that would let him think such a thing. Have we really become so hateful and ignorant that a religion built on peace could be the target of such ridiculous suppositions, all because we were attacked by a minority sect of crazies?

No, they are judgmental words in answer to your first question and as I read through the rest of your questions the word judgmental also seems to apply.

Charity, Humility, Love- they are all wonderful gifts... difficult to do however, I know. Please start practicing with Charity and Humility and I'll keep on practicing as well.

In His love,

Christians are not supposed to be any of those things. Christians ought to live as Christ did, forgiving other people, and given to prayer. i am truly sorry for the behavior of my brothers and sisters in Christ, who have embarrassed us all by such behavior

I am highly offended, you didn't post any of my questions. ;)

I don't think it's fitting of the group as a whole but all the words could apply to individuals in all spectrum's of life not just the Protestants.
