Which is more attractive in a man--

a man as a warrior/protector;

or

a man as a provider?

For this question, you have to pick one of those two.
But choose wisely, my daughter.

3 / 3 perfect split down the middle. It's going to be a close one. Which side will pull it out?

Just one more lady needs to come in for the tie-breaker.

Where the hell is she?

To be honest, both of the choices are a little outdated. I can protect myself and provide for myself..but, since I am answering this question I'll humor you.

I think it's sweeter to have a protector. I'm way too independent to have someone provide for me all of the time. If a man was willing to stand up for me and make sure I was okay, then I would find him a lot more attractive than someone who, say, wanted to buy me things all of the time.

they have done studies where women between the ages of 16-25 pick personality as the top attribute when looking for a man and they choose financial security in the ages 26+. in men we chose looks in both age categories.

I would choose a warrior / protector. I can provide for myself, but I am not always able to protect myself being that I am just female.

It needs to be a combination of both. I guess if I had a choice, I'd prefer a provider. You and your family come first. If you don't have a man that's there to help support you and your family, he can be as protective, from the homeless shelter, all he wants.

I would say a provider, no matter what he will always be a protector if he loves you.
