I am interested in whether or not you would act and react differently... and specifically how you would respond differently in regards to your friends, family, war, government, etc.

If you can't fathom the question, you may consider not answering it.

I do not feel like God is making me do something I don't want to do..I don't vote just for Christians. I don't live my life suffering now so I can have rewards in Heaven. What would change is the joy and peace God gives me..I can't fathom a universe without Him.

I'd enjoy my life to the fullest and spend each day having a good time with friends and family knowing that the time we have with each other now is all the time we have together since there isn't going to be a grand tea party in the sky when we all die.
Oh wait, there isn't a God and that's what I'm doing now. Hmm...

I would have a purposeless, meaningless existence. I would need desperately to do something to keep me from thinking about a meaningless existence. I would keep busy and concentrate on small daily happy feelings hoping that I could keep this up until I had a chance to die.
But if there was no God, I don't think we would have this need for meaning and purpose in our human nature.

I don't think I'd change much. I believe in 'god' but I don't think my beliefs dictate my behavior. The good things I do I do because I want to be a good person for my own sense of self worth. The things that are wrong are wrong because they hurt people or interfear with their (reasonable) free will/ "pursuit of happiness," not because "God says so."

Well, if I wasn't in constant fear of sinning and burning in hell for all eternity-
I'd go out and do all kinds of crazy things.
Sex in the streets. Fornication with young boys. I'd kill, steal, covet my neighbor's wife, work on the Sabbath, pray to idols and have a grand old time.
(actually- I'm an atheist and don't do all these things. Hmmm- perhaps my morality doesn't require a bronze age text)

there would be littlechange for me, being that I don't believe in god. The changes would be the way I have to deal with the outside world. If there was proof of no god then there would be no Fundies going around trying to convert me and harass me.

OHHHH I would be so much happier because then i wouldn't have to listen to ppl and their reason to hate and bomb and kill others. People would BE FORCED to make their own decisions and actually think for a change and not hide behind a being that does not acknowledge them or do anything to prove its presence.

if i learned there was no god...it wouldnt change life for me at all.. If theres no god,,thentheres no devil..in which case, this means i wouldnt have to worry about going to hell, then my life is happier-(im not saying i would become evil.. I know better..)
Basically it wouldn't change because i never believed there was a god any way. Im agnostic.

No change for me because I believe there is no god, God luck getting answers from believers they, for the most part, don't have the imagination to think outside their beliefs.

I would not have the strength to endure a chronic illness that causes me pain 24/7 for almost my whole life- I am 49. I would not be able to withstand the difficulties of my husband's disability. I would not have learned to be content in any situation- and the most important part I would not be able to spend eternity with Jesus- which is what I am looking forward too
