Lucky you Blue bolt. I retired and was glad to do so, from a place were ideas were discourages inspite of management claims. ( I did not really have any ideas but saw too many good ones slapped down because of the trouble it would cause setting it up, rather than the basis that it would be unprofitable

Surely if British Management existed the Country would not be in the state it is presently in. Everyone now talks about line managers but what they actually do to better their company I am not sure. Common sense,consideration and understanding of the work force now seems to be out the window. Political correctness and human rights are a nonsense and ruining many a good career. Everything now has to have a business plan. Bring back the good old Matron..

What field of management?.... I work for a great firm, everyone of all levels get on & managment don't lord there positon over people... prehaps you are just not content with your work & need a change, new job?...or you could be right & youre bosses could just be w@nkers!....if so....poor you...soz mate!
