I am trying to live a life of chastity like the Mormons but am having a difficult time not "doing it solo" in my sleep. This really irritates me because it would ruin my chances of joining the priesthood. Therefore, I am saving up and researching some chastity belt companies to help "keep me pure." I may want to convert to LDS but the "doing it solo" problem could prevent my acceptance in that religion.
Please let me know of your success with chastity belts! What else do you suggest for the prevention of "doing it solo"?

Okay, if you really want to try a chastity belt, you have to commit to it, because chastity belts for men are much different and more constricting than womens, for many reasons. First, the only true chastity belts for men that are sanitary and safe to wear are ones with a built-in corset - and that means a very tightlaced waist-cinching corset, usually made of heavy denim or leather. It must reduce the waist by several inches so that it can't be slipped off, and then a special leather clasp-belt with a small lock attached is worn over the corset part to keep it from being removed. Chastity belts made of clear plastic are NOT safe and can cause injury. You need one totally made of denim with an inserted metal sheath that encircles the penis, with enough room for erections. Inside the tube there are two or three small pointed projections - not sharp, but they are just enough that if the wearer gets an erection, it is quite uncomfortable and usually goes away quickly. The metal sheath fits tight up against the body but not so tight as to cause harm. The testes are encased in a rigid plastic or metal ball, with holes all over it (like a wiffleball) that is screwed shut at the top, leaving only enough room for the scrotum but not enough room for the balls to slip out. Then a leather band goes between the legs and separates into a "Y, and the straps widen considerably over the buttocks. These are not adjustable once the belt is fitted. Some of these belts come with a small mechanism installed that allows the user, or whoever is in control of the user, to apply small, safe yet very painful electric shocks to the penis, when temptation rises or when the wearer finds himself feeling aroused. It is enough to make an erection disappear completely, believe me. Also the corset itself can be used as discipline, tightening it more when the wearer feels sexual thoughts coming on, etc. And in actuality a corset can be quite enjoyable to wear because you know that it is reducing your waist (the one I wore reduced my waist by 7 inches after I had worn it for 2 months) and the feeling is somewhat erotic without inducing erections. Look into them online - there are several vendors.

I am a 15 (almost 16) year old boy and have been wearing a chastity belt since October. Sometimes I hate it. Certain situations led up to this, but I am working my way to being totally free.

Chastity is a matter of self-control. You learn to put the spiritual side of life in front of the physical/carnal side of life. You can live without sexual gratification. Quit looking at salacious literature and indulging your libido. Focus on the more important aspects of life. Keep yourself anxiously engaged in good causes and accomplish much good of your own free will. Take the initiative to stay busy in good endeavors. When you get married, you can then enjoy intimacy with your wife. Even then, it must be in its proper time and place.
Physical restraints should not be necessary. Pray for moral strength.

We don't have Chastity belts, that was Christians during the Medivel days. We use self-control to keep chaste.

the only way to keep yourself from doing that is to pray and ask for help from the Lord.
you have to have a real strong will to overcome that by yourself, and only the lord can help you.
a belt only blocks your way, but you can still get around it.
i dont know of anyone that still uses those, so...
good luck either way...
