Homecoming was this weekend and we didnt have dates but i saw him there and he was always just talkin to ppl never dancing but once i caught his eye and then he was talking to his friends and he said something and then they all looked at me and then they turned away and then he said something else and they looked again like he was asking for there approval of me or sumthin and then he came over and asked me to dance which is weird since he is a really shy guy but after we danced he kinda just walked away and nothing changed tday at school but do you think that he might like me i mean he does look at me during the class we have together but im not sure...ome of my friends think he does but im not sure....???

I think you should go for it. If he is shy and still made the effort to ask you to dance, he is probably interested. If he didn't want anything to happen he wouldn't have taken that step. It may seem strange that he walked away, but honestly, guys can be awkward and maybe he didn't know what else to do. Ask him out!

Another 16 year old girl who is too timid to just go up and ask the guy. Really, is rejection really that bad that you will sacrifice the chance of a good relationship?

Look at it from his point of view. How would it make you feel if someone didn't think you were worth a risk like that? Ask him out yourself.

There is nothing wrong with taking a risk. I took one too. And if he did kind of reject you afterwards, it prepares you for the future. I mean it's an achievement if you tell a guy you like them. Let me just say that you can get into a conversation with him. Ask him who he likes, then make him guess who you like and you basically tell him you like him. He is more likely to be more honest with you if you tell him something.

talk to him, get to know him better
what could go wrong?

if hes to shy to ask you, ask him
rock his world (:
find out his intrests from some of his friends.
see what you have in common.
then that would strike up a conversation!

good luck
hope things work out

He likes you and I am sure he is not making fun of you. If he doesn't like you why would he waste his time talking about you? Or he thinks you like him.
