Since the idea of "God" is a universal concept, your suggestion would apply only if it were true in all languages.

It's just a coincidence. Those words are only 3 letters long, so such a coincidence is quite likely. It's nothing remarkable. If God backwards was Dog in every language, that would be something worth remarking on.
