Because we all know what happens when attitudes like that are allowed to grow and fester: 9/11.

To those of you who say "love the sinner, hate the sin": where does the sinner stop and the sin start?

Jesus told Christians to pray for their enemies. Unfortunately, I don't know how many Christians actually follow that command.

The Buddha said "Hatred Never Ceases by Hatred, but by love alone is it conquered."

Christians are to hate what God hates. God hates SIN not the sinners. There is no sin in heaven and no sin will ever be allowed.

Man hates people and endorses the sin.

The truth is to hate the sin, not the sinner. God does not hate anyone. He only hates sin. Anyone who says differently does not know what they are talking about.

The bottom line is that everyone sins. Nobody is perfect. We are here to be the best that we can. By hating others we slow down our spiritual growth.

No. The Bible states in Colossians 1:15 that Jesus Christ is the exact image of God. In Jesus we see love and not hate. We are commanded to love one another as Christ loved us-John 13:34. The same forgiveness, mercy and kindness shown toward us, we are to go give the same. Let God deal with Judgement not people.

I am not going to get trapped with this question. God does not say to hate anyone, he says to hate the THINGS that He hates. There are 2 totally different things- we are to hate, sin. -not people- because if God hated people, He would never have sent His Son Jesus to die on the cross for our sins.

No it is not right. God doesn't hate anyone or any culture he hates the sin. God does not also command us to hate. We are to love everyone, but hate their sin not the person.

God would never command a true Christian to "Hate" someone.

Good try..

If the Bible is the word of God, then yes. Follow the Bible.

You might be labeled as anti-Semitic, but it's what the New Testament preaches.

There's absolutely nothing Christian about hate at all.
