You just keep believing that.

Unlike religionists I have no ambition to change anyone's views on god. If you want to have an imaginery friend then that's your choice. I will simply point out that there is no evidence for the belief that god exists and that the teaching of religious beliefs such as creationism as fact is at best misguided.
You give yourself away by assuming that others have a similar agenda to yourself in the same way that a thief expects everyone else to also be a thief. It is only religionists who want to spread their beliefs to others; atheists are content to dismantle the statements of religionists and then let people make up their own minds.

I'm not interested in "converting" anyone. That isin't how it works anyway. Each person examines information for themselves and makes their own choices based on the evidence (or not). Everyone should have access to different points of view and all the facts or as many as possible when making choices. This said I have seen posts from people who stated they had changed their view on here. I'm glad you don't care, it should only matter to you what you believe and that it makes sense and works for you, why be so interested in controlling what other's believe for themselves.

Unlike you, some people actually pull their fingers out of their ears and attempt to listen for at least a short period of time. Every now and then, a tiny bit of sense leaks through the cracks and penetrates the brain. Aftern then it is only a matter of time before the person rejects the sanity and slips further into a world of delusion OR just perhaps begins to open up to a world of logic and reason.
I know it has happened because it happened with me. I know it still happens because other people have given similar "testimonies" and are continuing to do so.
And still there you are all plugged up: "Lalalala I'm not listening!!"
The thought of people like you driving and voting makes me sad for my children's future.

Now I'm Atheist but I never try to convert anyone to Atheism....I only begin to argue about such things when you Christians put down our beliefs....and please don't be like Greg T....he put many questions towards us Atheists and all of them got deleted since so many of us were reporting them. You Christians are the ones who are always trying to convert others to your religion since you feel it is the "true" and "only" religion which you should be a part of. Well I'm not....I suggest you keep your opinions about us to yourself.

Do you realize that you *are* changing people's views on God?
Nothing creates an atheist faster...

I am considering becoming a believer. What would you do then
I could be as good of a christian as that other used to be an atheist person.
I could be a real good member of the Christian race,
Look I even have my new Christian race name. It is so new it is all white and shiny.

Sorry Eason but my opinion on religious matters changed tremendously after reading a lot of the Q&A on here ( from atheists and religious alike).
The difference between you and I is probably that I don't rule out common sense and logic when learning about things.
You should try it sometimes.

Are you kidding? Who wants to change anyone's mind? However, when Christians make statements that can be challenged with facts, then that deserves responses. Not to change your mind; just to present the other point of view.

Who cares what simple folk like you believe.
We atheists have geniuses like Darwin and Einstein on our side.
Remember, my gullible friend, nobody has ever carried out suicide bombings or tried to blow up the twin towers in the name of science have they!
