I am currently working full-time but I am not really happy with what I am doing right now. I have a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering Technology and almost done with my M.S. in Management. Do you think it would be wise to go back to school for a B.S. in Environmental Studies or Environmental or Civil Engineering if I were really interested in the environment?

If you really want to get into management from the start, then it wouldn't make much sense to get another technical degree.

If you want to do actual environmental engineering, then you should get that degree. Another advantage to getting an EnvE or CE degree is, if you work in that field for a few years, then your MBA will be worth a lot more.

MBAs with technical undergrad degrees are always worth more than pure MBAs. MBAs with a technical degree and experience in that field are worth the most (to a prosective employer).
