My family is religious. We accept Jesus Christ's teachings. Why is that ----Jesus walked all over the place casting out demons AND the problem was so invasive that he recruited 12 disciplices AND the problem was so all emcompassing that he recruited 42 more other helpers to help him to cast out demons.............but we refuse to recognize demon possession in 2007? My daughter has a demon but nobody will help me to cast it out. The Baptists say they believe 100% in demons but when I suggest that we have an exorisicsm, they go pale and wander away. I understand that the Catholics have a limited few group of clergy men who deal in this but I'm not Catholic. I don't recognize the rosary beads, the Pope as God on Earth, or the Virgin Mary as a deity.

What's wrong with Christians these days???

Honestly what is wrong is that there are so many denominations with so many religious doctrines. I attend a Spirit filled non-denominational church. Our church is filled with the Holy Spirit. Ephesians 5:18 Don't be drunk with wine but be filled with the Spirit. And sometime the anointing is so strong in our church that demons manifest during a service and the pastor etc. preform a deliverance right there on the spot.
Maybe you need to look for another church....and I'm not saying that your going to a bad church, but today many churches are so filled with pride rather than the Spirit. What I mean by pride is they want to have the biggest church, they have to be acknowledged everywhere blah blah blah. But when it comes to helping a person in your situation they panic. I would suggest that you just look around your phone book and call some non-denominational churches and ask if they are a Spirit-filled church. If they say yes...explain your situation about your daughter and I can almost guarantee you they will be willing to immediately help you and not go pale and wander away. :)
Hope this helps

Catholics don't believe that the pope is god on earth, nor that the Virgin Mary was a deity. AND the rosary beads were invented as a tool to keep track of the passion of Christ. If you believe in Demons and NEED an exorcism, the Catholics are probably the ones to contact. They will do it if it is truly needed. I for one read history and know that Demons and Hell were not around until they were listed in the bible which was written and edited by the council of Nicaea over 200 years AFTER Christ's death. Most demons turned out to be nothing more than illnesses that people claimed were evil demons, but that belief is up to you. Good Luck.

Every 5-10 years or so there's a news report about a child who is killed during an attempted exorcism. Trying to get a 'demon' out is not considered a valid reason to endanger a child's life. The clergy and the parents are held responsible for the child's death.

What is it that makes you so absolutely sure it's a demon, and not some other problem?

My son had one and my Pastor, who is Baptist helped me thru it. The specific phrase to use is, "In the name of Jesus Christ I rebuke you." Mind, you this will take more heavy duty praying than ever before. At the point when the demon was about to leave, my son said that he could actually hear the demon talking to him. I told him to help me and God by telling the demon inside that he rebuked it. My son then said he was thirsty. I took advantage of the water and blessed asking God to make it holly to cleanse out the demon. That was the end of it.

My question is...why do you believe your daughter has a demon? I believe they are here but I just want to know why you think that. God Bless.

Maybe your superstitions have created an angry child. What you see as demon possession, more logical people would see as rebellion against an oppressive religious tradition.
