First of all-- I'm pretty sure that's a hoax. If it's not-- then wow, that's unique. "The amazing thing is that Ryan actually has feeling in the end of that finger now -- the nerves were compatible!" Nerves don't easily grow back once cut...if you've ever smashed a finver under a thousand lbs of farm equiptment you'll know what I'm talking about. Nerves are hard to heal.

Honestly, no one can go "too far". It's an impossibility, as hard as that is to believe.
The thing is-- body modification is done for self, and not for you as the viewer. A person who gets a body mod is doing it for themselves, and because it is for them and no one else, they won't go "too far" because whatever mods they get are clearly not "too far" for themselves. Have you ever gone "too far" for yourself? Probably not, because that's a pretty hard thing to do.
Even if you don't agree with it, it's not for you to decide. It is their body and their life. People don't get mods to look good for everyone else-- but to bring upon themselves their personal idea of beauty for themselves. So for them, that's their body and how they want it to look, and it's never "too far".
To each their own.

"Too far" is subjective. Extreme today may be ho-hum tomorrow - and ho-hum today completely whacked out.
That said, I still get the idea that this is a hoax. Although twins are *very* similar, and if you're going to get a transplant or transfusion they are the ones to look to, they still are not clones (who even then can have minor tissue differences). As I understand it, pretty much the only tissues you'd have zero chance of problems with are your own.
Even then, connecting up an arm? Hmm. I don't see any signs of the weight of the arm pulling on the skin (what you don't see on a normal arm as the shoulder is there supporting it).

I think when people start going into body modification to the extreme its just way too far. I don't think you'll see cultures do this at all so for me its just wrong. I've seen pictures of people i guess doing genital and penile disfiguration i mean how demented can some people be i dont know. So yea it has gone too far and the state of mine these people must be in i dont think is the right one.

I have to say that is the most bizarre thing I have ever read. That is something I would never in a billion years consider, but it's their bodies. I personally think they are trying too hard.

Yeah, this is definitely weird. I don't think random amputation and reattachment is safe or healthy. What if these guys want to have families? Their own children will be scared of them!

Wow, way to far. I can't believe people do that to their bodies. I can't see how that is considered art.

No, I don't think it's too far. It's his body, his choice. I personally think it looks rather neat.

are you sure that is even true and not some elaborate hoax?
If it is true I guess to each his own, who am I to judge what two consenting adults choose to do with their bodies?
