Depends on the offense you were charged with and if it was reported to the FBI for inclusion on your NCIC Criminal History Report. If it was... and the employer does check that, than yes... It will show up.

It's difficult to say. Some misdemeanor files dfon't show up, some do, depending on the record keeping of the state. If it does, it shouldn't hurt your chances for the job. They may ask you to explain it. You aren't a criminal and these day, anyone can go to jail, and I do mean anyone.
There are more cops now. Raise your voice you go to jail.
piss a girlfriend off, you go to jail.
forgot your drivers license.? go to jail.
Mistaken identity, go to jail.
Good luck.

Only if they do an FBI background check. If they're doing a Highway Patrol check, it will only show the records in the state in which you live.

come clean for christs sake.
we recently emplyed a bloke whose record came back to bite him on the ***.
the initial 'misdemeanor' as you describe you own action was not an issue.
the lie on the application form which stated he had no convictions was however an indication that he was not trustworthy.
admit your mistakes like a grown up.

Yes. That is why they asked where you lived for the last 7 years or so. They will check in VA as we..
Be honest with them, head off the surprise.
