After 9/11 our president has been mad and thinks that, that 9/11 was a test.

Bush declared war on terrorism after 9/11 without really known what terrorism was. He then had to find some countries to fight, so picked Afghanistan (as they were harboring Bin Laden) and Iraq (on the trumped up charge of weapons of mass destruction), asked his chums in Europe to help, ignored their advice and invaded and killed lots of people, but solved nothing.
Why is the US at war when they don't know what they are fighting? Because they have a buffoon as a president.

Actually, Congress never declared war, technically we aren't at WAR. We are fighting a group of people who wnat to convert the entire world to ISLAM, by the sword if necesary.
I would rather send them to meet thier 70 virgins over there, than over here after they have killed more of our own. I did one combat tour in Afghanistan, and am scheduled for 1 in Iraq next year. If that is waht it takes to stop the death of more civillians here, so be it.

Well, lets see here....
It is definately all about the following....(NOT)
1. Oil (this is why gas is soooo cheap)
2. Finish up what Daddy didn't finish. (seeing as we went in when asked by the UN...and left when everyone else did....of course desert storm was Bush Sr.'s war!! (whatever))
3 Help in Re-election (All I have to say to this one is HAHAHA..OK and I guess that's the way to win American's hearts...go to war!)
4. Terminal stupidity. ( Yeah...for thinking these are the reasons)

Do you have any idea what the war is about?

Iraq has basically nothing to do with 9/11

The US is not a war -- Congress never declared any war.

The "war on terror" is a marketing phrase -- like the "war on drugs" -- it has no legal meaning.

And the US occupations of Iraq and US presence in Afghanistan are not part of any declared war that the US is party to -- they are pursuant to Congressional Authorizations for the Use of Military Force for specific objectives.

But despite how the word keeps getting bandied about -- the US is not in a state of war by any legal sense of the word -- which makes any talk about "war-time powers" irrelevant.

Good question actually and one all Americans should be asking - only dismissible as a stupid question by those with a brain as small as Bush, who thinks its obvious.

Yep it is test to see if we will run away from Muslim terrorists.
Glad to see people like you are willing to run away and wait for the next 9/11.

Me I rather take the fight to the bad guys.
