He has not eaten in a day. He has stayed on the bed for the whole day. He is also very weak and lethargic, occasionally hissing when I rub his head. His tail is pointed down and his lower back is slumped down and can easily be pushed down.

To be honest, one of the problems in letting cats outside is that the list of possibilities that could be wrong is so much longer than it would be if he was an inside cat. At age one, lethargy is a bit alarming if it lasts more than a day. The vomiting isn't a big deal, but the change in behavior is more concerning, especially combined with lack of appetite. Is he up to date on his shots, especially feline leukemia and FeLV? Also, if he drank from outside puddles, there's a bunch of different parasites and fungal infections he could have that many vets don't think about. These are things like histoplasmosis or toxoplasmosis. Both of these can have lethargy and lack of appetite as early symptoms. I wouldn't call this a rush-out-today type situation, but with a weekend coming up, I'd definitely get him seen tomorrow or no later than Saturday morning.

If he hasn't left the bed, bring some water to him. You'll want to make sure he doesn't dehydrate. Take him to a vet as soon as possible. He's probably ill, but he could possibly have a wound from fighting or something he's done, cat's get very vicious when ill or weak, this is a natural reaction. If they were wild animals and were targetted as a "weak" prey or enemy, when the foe comes to attack they get vicious, even if it's a "good guy", this is because cats aren't hugely social anyway, and it could see you as a threat because it is vulenrable.

When taking it to the vet, put a towel over it's back and wrap it up, if it's hissing at you it could strike out, so you have to hold in its limbs and put it in a carry box, with plenty of bedding and definitly some water.

Please take him to the Vet as soon as possible. Our cat had the same exact symptoms as yours, and we were so upset because we had just had a cat die from cancer 2 weeks prior. We took him to the vet and it was a viral infection. He had a high fever . The vet ran an antibiotic through an IV, gave him several injections and sent him home with antibiotics. The vet's office is only a 10 minute drive from our house and by the time we drove back home the cat was feeling so much better and started eating immediately. It's best to have your cat checked out.

This happened to my cat and he had an infection that was causing liver damage. You should get kitty to a vet ASAP.

Take him to the vet. If he's hissing at you he doesn't feel good at all, and may be in severe pain.

You should take him to the vet soon because he is probably very sick and in severe pain.

He's very sick. Unless something is wrong, kitties will tell you when it's time to eat. And something's making him feel icky too.

Take him to the vet NOW.

Good luck.

I agree with everyone else. Please take your kitten to the vet. He could have a hair ball problem or and infection somewhere.
