God does not want everybody. That's point number one. Can we know which one's God wants? Sometimes.

You are right, God wants us to preach the Gospel. And that's what I do. But in the meantime I do not presume to ignore Romans 9 or John 6. I do not ignore the things Jesus said about why he spoke in parables.

What many Christians seem to be lacking is discernment. They sometimes tell people who are not chosen. They indiscriminately say the same thing they would say to a believer that they don't approve of - as in lifestyle, as they would a person who has never heard the Gospel. That is spiritual blindness in action.

To the first statement:
Yes. I agree with the statement - for those who desire the fellowship. Some people don't want it, and therefore reject it completely.

Yes. I agree with that statement. But only with the fellow workers.

Koinonia is a Greek word that occurs 20 times in the Bible. Koinonia’s primary meaning is “fellowship, sharing in common, communion.” The first occurrence of koinonia is Acts 2:42, “They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.” Christian fellowship is a key aspect of the Christian life. Believers in Christ are to come together in love, faith, and encouragement. That is the essence of koinonia.

Philippians 2:1-2 declares, “If you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any fellowship with the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and purpose.”

"The Spirit of the LORD is upon Me, Because He has anointed Me To preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives And recovery of sight to the blind, To set at liberty those who are oppressed To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD."
I believe thats what luke 4-18 is talking about.
This is all of our commission.
Spreading the Gospel.

2 Timothy 2:16-17
16May our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father, who loved us and by his grace gave us eternal encouragement and good hope, 17encourage your hearts and strengthen you in every good deed and word.

Yes, we ought to "build" eachother up in the church-- and definately be there for one another, always.

Jesus said: " if you want to follow me deny yourself" and "come and see."

Let us encourage everyone no matter the cross we have. Take up our daily cross and Jesus in us.

I definitely agree. The statements are excellent, if it's sincere. One mark of Mr. Wood's sincerity might be to ask him how he strengthens and encourages his gay brothers and sisters in Christ. Or his Jewish brothers and sisters in Christ. Or his Muslim brothers and sisters in Christ. Or any brother or sister in Christ who does not believe the same things as he does.

If that was meant to do good things and to spread the word of God, why wouldn't?
