At college (around 1978), in the studio of our radio station, on the floor next to the turntables, during my radio show on a Monday evening around 8.
I played Elton Johns' Funeral for a Friend/Love Lies Bleeding".
My girlfriend at the time had dropped in earlier that evening and was teasing me.
I threatened to bop her right there and she dared me...so, I really had no other choice!
I made it back to the microphone just as the song was ending.
Thank God no one called in for a request.
Second strangest place was years later, in a television editing room with my soon-to-be wife.
Very cramped space, but at the time, who cared?
Last strangest place was several years after my wife and I divorced and a girlfriend and I got stranded on a sandbar after sailing.
We did it there, in the middle of the day.
