Im in grade 11 - I have no clue what to do!!! My parents are trying to make me be a police or something in the medical field. I know right off Im not risking to be a cop, and I dont like science stuff.

I really good, at history, art and computer software. I want a job that pays over 35,000 a yr, and a job thats 'in' or needed. Im thinking jobs as such interior decorator, or an architect. One is hard to to find customers and the other is hard to get into. ANy adice if I should take on those jobs, or others?

It doesnt matter what your parents think you should be. Just go to college and get that history/art history degree, you can do literally anything after that.

It is better to do what YOU are interested in - NOT what someone else tells you to so.

Architecture might be interesting, but restricting, and I beleive you have to be registered.

With a art-history degree you can do an MLS and be a Librarian, or be a curator in a museum or art gallery.

There are web sites like assessment.com that allow you to take a career matching test based on your likes and dislikes. It will then match your personality to the types of jobs that you would most likely be happiest in. I would highly recommend that you take something like this. There may be something similar offered through your guidance dept at school.

Being in the medical field is good because the need for people in those professions is only going to go up, not down. My neighbor has tried unsuccessfully to establish herself as an interior decorator. That one only works if the economy is flying and people have money to burn. Odds are you end up selling furniture, because most interior designers end up working in furniture stores - like Ethan Allen.

Maybe a graphic artist?

Two things:

1) DO NOT let your parents tell you what career you should be in. This is up to you and you alone.

2) You don't have to decide right now. Wait until you're in college. Take some courses that interest you. You don't have to declare a major right away. Many people don't choose a career, they end up doing something (sometimes good, sometimes bad). Internships are a great way to test the waters.

Good luck!

Follow your dreams. Do not ask others they may misguide you, you are master of your destinty. Job, field , work makes no difference , do not evaluate yourself with money, rather do not enter the rat race (After the money) let money follow you.

Choose a discipline of your interest and make your carrer in it. Let other follow your example, become a leader not the follower.
