If they are offering to discuss religious issues, I'm all ears and attentive. I love to discuss other paths.
If they're zealots trying to convert me (to any path), I let them know that I'm quite happy where I am and am really not interested in joining them.
I have never questioned the things I knew to be true - and the words of a zealot are hardly enough to make me start now.
And regarding the Churchill quote...
Absolutely! Every aspect of my life is a journey, and every place I choose to go (or not go) is a decision I will make and will result in consequences (good or bad) that I will face.

Because I truly believe in my faith and am knowledgeable of it, I stay and speak with them about it. I know waht I believe so I amcomfortable talking about it with anyone, whether they agree or disagree. It is people that are NOT secure in their faith that turn and run or get discouraged. And no, I don't live by Churchill's quote. God created the universe, I had nothing to do with it!

I usually smile and am polite then say I have my own beliefs but its nice they have theirs (something along those lines).
If they get pushy I find a reason to stop the convo and leave.
The only "group" that would find a way to internally bug me would be my family, especially my mom. The pushing and "guilt" they would send my way would make me sad and question for a few minutes but overall, Im cool with where Im at now and happier than ever.

As a Christan woman, I stand firm within my beliefs. I do respect the rights of others to chose what they feel is right for them. I would listen politely, say "have a nice day" and walk away.

Assertive communication. Not Aggressive, but assertive. Being exposed to other beliefs can make one stronger and more well rounded so, be tolerant and listen. But never lose sight of your own beliefs.

I think its healthy to question your beliefs, its healthy to be confronted with people of other faiths in this way... it defines who you are and forces you to ask what you really think. anyone who is going to go out of their way to make you listen to their Babel about their GOD\ gods in a manner that is intended to impose their beliefs on you is really questioning his\ her own legitimacy.
just believe in your self and the rest will follow

i listen and i respect others opinions and beliefs.
i don't get discouraged because i stand strong in the word of God.
i don't question my belief in God.
that quote can be true if that is what you believe. i believe that God created me for a reason and i will fulfill that purpose before i leave this earth.

What? If Churchill spouted some drivel like that, I have lost some respect for him.

I listen to them and try to understand why they believe what they do. I can't seem to propel myself in knowledge and wisdom in any other way than maintaining open ears and and open mind.
