You are talking about EHD (Epizootic Hemorrhagic Disease)

It is a disease that affects Deer that have been bitten by certain Gnats that frequent water holes and sources throughout the east coast and some western states

Humans cannot get this disease nor can it be gotten thru contact with an infected Deer or thru the consumption of venison. IT IS 100% PERFECTLY SAFE!!!
