How can a Christain woman who is supposed to be subserviant to a man be in a supervisor or boss position at work and not place themselves above a man in their faith? For that matter how can a Christain woman be a Pastor or Preacher in a church placing themselves at a higher place than men in their church, between men and God?

I'm not a woman, but please just read this.
I've never seen in the New Testament where an apostle commands women to not be bosses or have responsibilities outside home or the church except "for teaching spiritual things over men (not boys)."
Secondly, though women are to be submissive to their husbands, men are also commanded to be submissive to their wives as it is not their body but their partners. I know the problem may arise because of:
-Some passages in the Bible that says a woman's place is at home. Actually, that is just trying to say that the women are to make their home the priority over every duty. Many women who are Christians will agree with what I say.
-The woman should submit to their husbands and the men to Christ. It is like a contradiction from what the submission case I reffered to earlier. But take it this way.
From our doctrine, we say Christ died for us, therefore manifesting His love for men. Furthermore He's our intercessor, so why don't we 'submit' our beign, that is take care of us as he's powerful? I know this comparison has some drawbacks because I considered a powerful beign. I think the reason why there's this drawback is because I know from the Bible that the woman was created to be man's companion. And if a man loves his wife, 'submission' occurs.
Another problem, you have to know that in the New Testament ederly women are beign commanded to teach the younger women spiritual things. So they have a place in the church. So conclusion: No woman can spiritually teach an adult man
I really have problems answering this question because the word called LOVE; I don't understand it. And it is because of love that 'submission' occurs. The submission I refer to is not to be subservient. Also, take this response as my own personal view on the matter.
Sorry, I'm not able to give references because I don't have a good memory on locating these things I've talked about. And also, please don't think I'm an apologist.
Thanks for your patience and I hope it helps.

Whoa! The Creator made us all EQUAL! MAN made woman subservient! MAN WROTE and EDITED the bible so that he would hold power over women. MAN invented Satan and Witches so that the Church could get rid of those whom the Church deemed a threat to it's existence and keep people like sheep! NO MAN will EVER make me subservient to him! If he tried, he would find that HE would be hurting a LONG, LONG time! Come out of the dark ages and start using the brains you were given!

From a wholy BIblical point of view:
First of all - the New Testament verses in which you are most likely referring to in 1, 2 Timothy weren't even written by an apostle, rather than someone who "said" they were Paul, but scholars know he wasn't. So why follow these gospels that are such a departure from what Paul truly wrote in his letters that are in the New Testament.
Second of all - if you are talking about any verses from the Old Testament: Jesus IS the LAW -replacing any laws previously followed in Judaism. They no longer matter.

So if you so blindly choose to follow gospels just because your church or your husband tells you they are valid, then more power to you..I for one, would rather find my own way and study the Bible according to historical fact over fiction.

It would seem to me that if you were a woman a followed the bible strictly then this would not be possible. You would not even be able to have a job outside of the home if you were married. It think that the fact that more and more Christian women are finding themselves in supervisory situation means that this part of the practice is dieing out. (Thank God)

Women CAN and ARE pastors in many mainline denominations.

I work for a woman pastor, and I supervise several people at a church myself.

We are all ONE body of Christ and in unity in Him - our gender does not matter.

I find humor in the fact that so many people think Christians are not human.I was a boss for 17 years, when someone needed to be fired I fired them.We love Jesus ,We enjoy the bible ,We pray for others and help any one we can, that in no way implies we can not function.

Subservient to a man? Hahahahaha What planet did you just fly in from? Find a different 'guide to life' if you want to live here.

God has men teaching spiritual things to women, not the other way around. If some can't handle that, oh well. There are things that God does through some and then there's different things He does through others, that the first group can't do.

In reality they can because no gender is superior to the other, no matter what some ancient misogynists would have you believe..

In bible speak they will say that it's OK so long as in her heart she is subservient. Or some such nonsense.

Haven't you heard? All that "old law" stuff is no longer applicable. That's what they teach in Christian churches today.
