would love to see the underdog win plus i love the rcr drivers... clint showed that he belongs in the chase when he won in nh and every week he just goes out there and drives it would be so cool to have him upset the hendrick drivers he is so quiet and comes up with great finished every week .

I'd absolutely love it! Consider that all the championship winners in the past few years are from those 'mega teams' and tend to be guys who're hyped beyond belief. NASCAR needs an underdog to win again!

I may be a huge fan of Mark Martin, and may think that the skills that Johnson and Gordon are putting down deserve the run...but Bowyer -definately- outclasses them both for how he quietly got into contention!

If Gordon doesn't win it, than I would be happy to see Bowyer take it.. Would be without a doubt one of the biggest underdog wins in all of sports. Would make a great made for TV movie.. Good race Sat. night wasn't it?

That would be great. I watched Bowyer win the dirt national championship racing Modifieds at Lakeside Speedway in KC Kansas and at Thunder Hill in Mayetta Kansas several years ago.
Is it me or does he remind you of a former dirt track racer, very humble, driving a black Monte Carlo for Richard Childress? Dale Sr. would love Bowyer. I think we all should.

You can do it...after all its 07, and the 07 can do it..

Would love to see him win his first Cup this year but Gordon is been looking good. If its not in the cards for him this year, he will be a force to be dealt with in the years to come. As long as he keeps his mouth shut and let his racing doing the talking for him.

I'd love to see Clint win the Cup. I like his quite style, and he really won me over when I saw him @ Tony Stewarts late model dirt race in Eldora. When interviewed at that race he said he'd be racing on the dirt if he could make the same money he makes in Cup racing. Cup racing sucks......support your local short track racers!!!!!!!

At this point, I have to agree, and say I would love to see him get it. Just so Gordon doesn't. Jr. is out, Burton is out, Stewart still has a chance (i'd like to see him get it). So, Bowyer is ok with me.

Go Jr.>>>>

Not me, winning one race in the championship is not a champrion!

Not me, He won one race. If he won the title after the kind of year Gordon had would be appalling. Gordon deserves it this year, but if Bowyer has a year like Gordon next year, I'm all for him winning. I'm all for the best driver winning the title, so that would most definitely Gordon this year
