When I got my first Tattoo, I knew it was going to be my "1st and only" also. I just got my third one done, and am getting my fourth tomorrow. It was 10 years between my first and second, and less than a year between the second and my next one. What I am saying is, Tattoos are fun, and addicting.
Get the Hello Kitty Tattoo where ever you will enjoy it. It doesn't matter what other people think. Who cares if they say you won't like it in a few years. The point is you like it now, and "now" is a part of you life, just like "later" will be a part of you life one day.
Please enjoy your life for yourself. Don't give up doing things because other people think it isn't a good Idea.

On top of your foot is a great place to have a tattoo, its where my 1st and only one is. It looks great with sandals, and for going barefoot in the summer but is easily hidden when I don't want it to be seen (work) a little advice though, make sure the tattoo means something to you . In a few years you are going to say Hello Kitty who?? My tattoo is about the size of a 50 cent piece and its of a sun, with my daughters initials in it. a J and an H written in very fancy script.

Usually plenty of very devout persons are in opposition to tattoos & piercings given that it is changing your frame from the way in which God initially created it. The bible does now not straight say that you just are not able to have piercings or tattoos, so I believe it is extra an issue of the way persons understand it. Another cause your mother and father are typically in opposition to it's given that tattoos and piercings have a nasty rep in society. It's obvious as a rebellious factor to do. A lot of persons accomplice it with criminals and "punks." This is of direction only a stereotype and now not frequently real, however adults did not develop up with it up to our new release has so they do not rather recognize it. I do not see the damage in it. Tattoos & piercings are not that drastic and will also be eliminated. I believe different changes (like implants and plastic surgical procedure) are worse. I see tattoos & piercings extra as artwork that you'll bring round for your frame all the time.

I'm going to be completely honest with you. Whenever I see older people with tattoos on their legs I always think they're moles. Gross. They just don't look right. I'd do it on your back.
Although, are you really sure about Hello Kitty? Out of EVERYTHING you could ever want for a tattoo, you pick that? It just doesn't seem like something that would have very much meaning to you. I'd really make sure that Hello Kitty is really what you want. I think you could do alot better.

I agree with waiting until you decide for sure if you want hello kitty on yourself. I recently got one it was my moms idea and we both got half of a heart. She is 67 and it is her first tattoo, It will always be special to me since she will have the other half. We got them on our ankle, I let her pick the tattoo and the place. As for what others wrote about what others think, don't worry about that it's 100% your body. I like mine that is on the lower part of my back and men find that to be a sexy spot, I have gotten alot of compliments.. Good Luck

If you don't definitely know what you want, then hold off on getting the tattoo.
Wait until you're 100% certain of what you want and where you want it. And even then, think it over for a few more months just to be sure.
Also, consider getting a temporary or henna tattoo of what you want, where you want it. You'll have time to see how you like it, without being roped into having it there for life.

If you want the tatoo really bad, then get it. The only problem is that it is permanent and a painful process to get removed. Just think about it before you get it because many jobs these days do not want their employers to have a tatoo. It makes people look at them differently if they have a tatoo. If you decide to get one, just make sure it is somewhere it can't be seen, or cover it up with concealer when you go to your job so no one can see it.

i promise you you'll want that removed in about 3 years. trust me. and not becasue it's a tattoo, i have plenty, but when you're older, youll look at it and go.... well that doesn't really mean anything to me.
wait a bit, they're coming out with new inks that will only require 1 laser treatment to remove instead of 8+.

Please don't try to be cute and get a hello kitty tattoo. Put some more thought into it and if you don't have any other idea's, don't get one!

i agree about the "you might regret it later part" but if you still want to get it i recommend the shoulder. its easier to hide and less painful than the leg.
