Turkey is our ally and has been since the end of WWI. If they attack Iraq, they're only doing the same thing we did -- attack a nation that never attacked the United States. It's not very smart to retaliate against our quickly diminishing allies, and it's also pretty stupid to ask Turkey to not defend itself against a group it sees as terrorists.

No, but it should step in and prevent innocent Kurds from becoming casualties. Turkey does have a right to go after Kurdish rebels. To my knowledge, the Kurds started this incident first and crossed into Turkey first. They are labeled as terrorists, and rightfully so, but there are many more innocent Kurds that don't need to be piled into that conflict.

Doesn't rightly matter what I, you, or anyone else thinks now does it? Sorry, it's frustrating to think that we'll be getting involved in another war, but that's what will happen. Should we? No.

Iran has been shelling the Kurds since we invaded. I don't think we care who does what to them - they don't have any oil so they are on their own.
