No, America is NOT a Christian nation. To answer the next part of your question, there is not one Christian I know who would feel anything but abhorrence for thievery, murder, rape and lying. Hope that is clear enough for you.
Since I AM of Native American ancestry along with white European ancestry, and I HAVE blacks in my immediate family (brother-in-law and some nephews), it does anger me what was done to native peoples in this country and in other countries by alleged Christians. I can't do anything about their past behavior, but what I can do as a Christian is try to live a more healing and loving life than they did back then, and work to foster intercultural understanding.
But the fact that damage was done by those alleged Christians doesn't mean that Christianity is wrong in and of itself. Just like it doesn't necessarily prove that Islam is wrong due to the bigotry illustrated by SOME muslims against the Jewish people.

This nation is NOT a Christian nation, though many in this nation are Christians there is a difference as you well understand my point.
I am a Native American, and Black on my mothers side and my fathers side is from England. I claim I am not racist so I feel qualified to answer this question.
I choose not to live in the memories of those who suffered at the hands of stupidity and bigotry.
Life is too short and far too important to live in an angry state of mind that we can do nothing about. Live, Love, and enjoy those around you while you can and put the past in the grave where it belongs because you only damage yourself by resurrecting and living in old hate filled history.

Don't judge God by what America has done--that's just silly! Even God's own people, the ones He said were His, did some awful things. Just read the Old Testament. So if Americans claim to be Christians and yet do terrible things, that isn't God's fault. The important thing is what YOU will do, and whom YOU will serve. That's all that God is interested in from you, and He isn't going to care about American history when the day comes for you to explain your life to Him. Accept Christ and show the world how a Christian really should live, instead of worrying about how others messed it up.

Only fundamentalist Christians think the US is a Christian nation (or think it should be). But yes, horrible things are done in the name of Christianity (and other religions too), or rationalized with Christian doctrine all the time. That's why I want the US to remain a secular nation.

America is not a christian nation. Had our founding fathers wanted it to be one...I'm sure they would have made that clear in our US Constitution....
Check out the Treaty With Tripoli, Article 11....

it relatively is genuine. In God I DO believe. I basically enable the believers in God relay that believe for me, cos i in my opinion have not got self assurance. i do no longer concepts being shipped in with each and all the Christians. i will settle for them. it relatively is not my subject if a number of them can no longer settle for me. i assume i'm fortunate in that admire. If i wanted a metamorphosis of ecosystem, i ought to easily pass to a Muslim ruled us of a. of direction, there could be the comparable challenge the place i might face sturdy opposition if i do no longer act the comparable way. i'm high quality with it although. we are able to all study from what we've not got self assurance, if we open our minds to it. there is not any requirement to have self assurance it although. There are numerous church homes here in England, and that they coexist peacefully with numerous mosques. i'm particular i could be welcomed right into a mosque, basically like i'm welcome in church homes. regardless of the incontrovertible fact that I purely frequently pass to my 2 temples. those the two ingredient of my head, in meditation. ((((hugs))))
