Cats are always hungry. :) Most likely they know that their food is in there and are hoping you're going to feed them. Don't feed them every time they seem to be hungry. Set a schedule and only feed them then.

Ahhh, the BIG predator (you) goes to the fridge to kill something to eat, so the little predators (them) follow in escort in case you drop scraps that they can take advantage of.
What's unusual about that? Even if you're not a sloppy eater, they can still hope. They know darn well there's food in there.

That's just what cats do. My cat can be sound asleep in another room but when the refrigerator door opens she is right there.

If thats where you keep the cat food, then they probobly think that thay might get a bit of a treat. My cats do the same thing. =D
Keep to their feeding schedule though. Don't give them too much or they can get sick.
If they don't get sick then they definately will get fat. LOL
Good luck.

I have a cat that follows me everywhere. They want your attention & don't want to miss anything in case you do something fun.

Maybe. More likely it's a 'Pavlov's Dog' kind of reaction.

is this where you keep their food, if so, that is why or it could be that they like when the door is open because it is cool air.
