Well i'm 15 and i can't drink pop and the most junk like thing in our house is granola bars.
I'm kinda glad because I'm not fat like some of my friends who eat junk.

Not really, b/c I dont even like junk food anymore...like Mickey D, etc. I cant stomach them and would not dare make my child eat it. He eats what I he now. But I do give him candy now and again, well more so gum.

Not very often. I try to minimize it as much as possible . Especially during the holidays, I try to keep it to a minimum. Every year after halloween. I allow them to have about a handful of candy then I always like to take the rest to work and let my co workers eat it. But when I am shopping I just don't by that crap so it is not tempting for them

once in awhile, a little bit of something never hurt its when they have way to much is when things go bad. our parents didnt worry about the effects on us when we ate handfulls of the stuff but moderation is the key to anything and always keep an eye on it. if you teach them good habits about candy and junk food when they are young it will follow them the rest of their lives but if you tell them they can not eat anything it will make them want it more and more.

They get candy on Sundays from church that's usually it. Unless they have a party at their schools then I make up all share it so it want be too much for one child. My children aren't allowed sodas or Kool-Aid except at special occasions such as partys or birthdays.

Sure in reasonable amounts! Both of my girls are healthy and neither one is over weight! I don't think the occasional Pepsi and Hershey Bar ever killed anyone! I would hate to have some parents, no wonder kids rebel! JMO

As a treat, but not as a routine. I have a horrible sweet tooth myself, and was raised having dessert nearly every night. I hope to raise my children to not have that instinctive craving for sugar right after dinner.

No I don't! I am a health food fenatic and I don't want to jepordize my children's health by feeding them junk all day long. I want them to grow up to be happy, healthy adults. I want them to eat right so that they don't end up being over weight and have low self esteem - that would suck. I'm teaching them to eat healthy - the closest we get to junk food here is gerber fruit juice snacks a couple of times a week - and 1 little package usually lasts my daughter 2 days! I think that it's best to teach your children to eat healthy and BE healthy for life - teaching and ingraining this in their minds early on will help them avoid a lot of problems later on in life.

Occasionally, but I try to limit it and not let them have too much. I think a treat every now and then is ok.
