Does anyone else agree that people just seem to want to argue in this forum? A person can't seem to ask a legitimate question without being bashed or ridiculed. Why all the arguing and bad mouthing of others all the time. If someone says something you don't agree with, why not just go on to the next question where you might actually be useful...

Please read the Guidelines for this site (link, bottom of most pages).
Notice that it's SUPPOSED to be a question and answer site.
Also notice that both chat and insulting people, as well as not answering the question, are violations (among other things).
Whenever you see any violation of the Guidelines, click the Report It link and submit the report.
If more people were familiar with the Guidelines, and reported abuses, there would be more interesting questions to answer, and people with questions would get more and more helpful answers.
That's what this site is for.
(People who want discussions or participate in flame wars should go elsewhere. Some people seem to think this is the only site on the web. Odd, that.)

The issue is that when people are shown the fault in their logic or the evidence against their position, some hold on to their position anyway. Taking this point together with the fact that many of these imbeciles also vote, it has to be dealt with.

I do agree. Religion is such a touchy subject and things will always be ugly when it comes to religions and disagreements. That's why people with common sense don't bring the subject of religion up at parties or anywhere where you want to relax, have fun and not have your head bitten off!

I disagree. ;)
Seriously though, some of these questions are set up to cause debate. So what's the harm in debating them? If you only want the answer to a question, stick to answering and asking those kinds of questions!

I have asked questions without ridicule. I also don't ridicule. Although I am a smart aleck.

No, you are absolutely wrong, but I will not provide any evidence to support my argument to an arrogant fool like you.
(BTW, this is a joke and should not be taken seriously)

well I feel that a lot of the "top contributors" in all of Yahoo Answers only got there through posting multiple answers insulting others.
