If that's what the radiologist wants, then it's fine. He's the one that's reading it.

We need the part to be focussed in an xray to be nearer to the xray tube. In case fracture ribs (anteriorly) is suspected, we take AP xray chest also. Same way, abdominal organs are in front and taking PA view won't be wise.
