Monopoly is the game of laissez-faire capitalism, it's OK to cheat as long as you don't get caught and the game has no rules to punish cheaters with. All that happens if you get caught cheating is the other players have to keep a closer eye on you.

cheating in playing monopoly may not be fair game, but if that's all it's not worth worrying about. I wouldn't bother. Unless you play with real money. Just make sure you are on her team next time.
