What is it with you Christians and forcing your religion on other people? No I havent accepted Jesus as my savior cause he is not real. I am Atheist I don't go around forcing people to accept my ways.
I tolerate all religions. This is not directed towards those that keep their religions to himself. This is for those that support forcing others to believe in "god". "god" was invented so people would be easier to control by the government. Think about it, as I am sure that some religious folks DON'T do.

Why do christians say they are "saving" nonchristians when nobody else believes they are getting saved?
We do not want to be saved from an unreal god.
How do you expect us to believe we are getting saved when we don't believe anything that is said to harm us?
I see many nonbelievers living and dying peacefully?
and I hate those who say that nonbelievers will go to hell, cuz we don't believe in hell.
and as this is an experiment, I bet there will be answers that will prove>1 of my claims.

no, evolution is a theory, because it has data to back it up.

you could argue that christianity also has data to back it up, (that god said its true), but thats a catch 22 and you have to believe in god before you can prove god is real. so wtf it is not proving anything.

Very good point. I believe in God, and it is so annoying when I see people on here trying to force atheists to believe as well. Who are they to say you are going to go to hell for not believing? If that is the truth, then they should not be proud of their religion.

Have intelligent, meaningful discussions, not stupid arguments trying to force your beliefs on others. Don't be a brainwashed fanatic, that is what al-Qaeda is..

I would not say drive however I understand what you imply. Spreading the "phrase" is first-class it is simply how a few Christians pass approximately it that irks me. When did it ever come to the factor of telling men and women if you do not comply with Gods phrase your going to hell and even implying the reality. What's up with that. I went to a bible research as soon as and the lecturers had the nerve to inform that to a number of children . Now that for my part isn't the best way to pass approximately getting men and women to comply with the Christian method. I do not consider it is correct for a few Christan's to inform any one it is both the fiery abyss of Hell with out a salvation from God or heaven in which all of your sins shall be forgiven. If men and women could alternatively maintain with their possess religions than convert to the Christian religion, I consider Christians must besides that and depart matters be.

Your note here describes some of your opinions that are evidently contrary to mine.

If I were to refute your assertions by stating my own opinions, would I then be accused of forcing you to believe my opinions? I certainly hope not. I have done exactly what you just did with your own note. I expressed my opinions.

I will agree with you on one point. Some Christians are a bit overzealous. They are taking their job a step too far.

We have been asked to simply spread the word of God to all nations. We are not the instrument of conversion, God is. We plant the seeds, God makes them grow.

If you have truly listened to what Christians have to say, and chose to reject it, that is your right. You have heard the word of God, and received the seed, but tossed it out before it had the chance to grow.

I did that for the first 44 years of my life. Then, someone tried once again, and I "got" it. My life has changed completely, and I am thankful.

Of course I am going to try to give others the same chance that I received. It would make perfect sense if you had experienced what I did. And, my own heart is heavy when I see someone in the same type of life that I myself led prior to my conversion.

But, I also know how irritating it can be to have folks constantly hounding you. That is wrong behavior, and I would not do that. I counsel others to remember their true job, and stick to that.

If you chose to think about what has been said a little more, and had questions, then I would be happy to give you more details. Perhaps with that little bit of nurturing, you, too, would "Get it" and you would be on your way to a change in perspective.

Sure I hope for that event, but I cannot force it to happen. You have to choose a better life for yourself, because only when you choose to seek will you find.

Matthew 28:19-20
"Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you..."

Jesus told his followers to do this, and since all Christians have become His followers, their purpose is to tell other of what Christ did for the world. I can apologize day and night for the people who go around and slap people with their Bibles, but that's all I could do is apologize. Instead, I tell people about Christ with love, and ignore the people that thump their Bible and proclaim their own holiness.

Yes, I've seen the same things that you've seen. And frankly, I'm turned off by the same things you're telling me about. But you can't put a big blanket statement like that on every Christian. That's what makes you a stereotypical atheist. I know there's a lot of atheists out there that don't like to be associated with the ones that label all Christians as hypocrites. I know there's atheists that can actually carry on an intelligent religious conversation with Christians, and neither of them be demeaning to the other.

Maybe you should consider what you just did and compare it to the Bible thumpers out there. I don't see any difference.

This is not a question but an anti-Christian rant.

Anyway, what do you mean, "forcing" their religion on you? If they were forcing it on you, then you would be Christian, wouldn't you? Because you would have been forced to convert. The fact that you are not Christian proves that the Christian religion has not been forced on you.

You say, "I am Atheist I don't go around forcing people to accept my ways". But our society is mostly an atheistic society. Crosses are no longer allowed on public land or in courtrooms or classrooms. Was that a voluntary change? No, those changes were forced on society through the courts, largely via the ACLU and other atheists. The County of Los Angeles was forced to remove a miniscule cross from the background of the county seal, at a cost of thousands of dollars. The majority of people opposed it, but it was forced through by threat of lawsuits.

No state has voted to allow gay marriage, and many have voted to outlaw it. Yet it's now legal in MA, and we all know it's only a matter of time before it spreads. Again, this is against the wishes of the majority but is being forced through via the courts.

So, who is it that's forcing their views on people, again?

I believe in God , but I have to agree with you. The only thing I need to be saved from is people trying to save me. Is there anything more offensive than unsolicited advice? If believers would just demonstrate their beliefs through action many more would want to follow.

TRUE Christians don't "force" anything upon anyone! The Scripture says, "Go ye out into the highways and hedges and COMPEL (NOT beg, force and etc.) them to come in." It's like the old adage...."You can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink". A Christian can share their faith, but cannot make them accept it, for to do so is to impose on a person's free will.

You tolerate the religions that you choose to tolerate. If you really were tolerant then you would have to tolerate intolerance......

Secondly, name one person that is a christian by force of someone else.

Thirdly, concepts of God were around long before there was any governmental establishments.

I am a born again Christian.

I believe in the 100% truth of the King James Bible

The bible teaches that we are to go into all the world and preach the Gospel. The Gospel is hat Christ died for your sins, was buried, rose again the third day conquering death and hell. Making full payment for your sins.

My job is to give you all the information you need to get saved.

I am not the Holy Spirit i cannot save you all i can do is, like the Holy Spirit, point you to Jesus.

From there you must decide for yourself to believe what you know is true (Romans chapter one) or reject the truth and die in your sins going to hell.

That is not forcing you to do anything but listen. You don't have to read my answer or respond. you have a free will to ignore me and God.

Ignoring God won't make him go away tho. The choice (and punishment) is yours

The truth is that many of these people are still mentally and physically(for some) trapped in the amish pilgrim puritian colonial era.You see christians(especially) are trying to make christianity the dominant religion of this planet by trying to snuff out the other set through fear, intimidation, minipulation, guilt, and even violence if you donot accept their religion as your own.People need to come out of the 16th century colonial puritian pilgrim era and wake up to the 21st century and just accept each other for who they are, personally we believe that it is a person's characteristics and personality that defines them and not their religion or gender.Wake up people and stop being a facist.Humanity needs to grow up mentally. All religions should be equal.Personally we are ecclectic and dang proud of it.
