Because the program is considered non-credit, I don't qualify for FAFSA or a student loan through the government (as far as I know). I'm fairly young, so I have little (probably no) credit history and, unfortunately, everyone I know has bad credit so I have no cosigner. Even though I'm a full-time student, I'm not a dependent because I am also a mother. Any suggestions?

I do have a secured credit card that I have had for about a year now. I've had the same job for years now, but I have small income due to being a single mother and going to school full-time.

This training program is very important to me. After the 13 months are completed, I will qualify for a career in ultrasounds and will make about 7x what I currently make now.

How important is the non-credit training program? Will it help you earn more money? Or is it just something to pass your time?

Do you work? If you work, you may be able to apply for a credit card, and build up credit with that by paying on time. Otherwise, if you have income that can be documented, you can ask for a loan at a local bank. They may or may not give you enough credity, but it's worth a try.

Do you have a business? You may be able to get a business loan.

Get a business credit card. Up to and sometimes over $20,000 in credit.
You just have to open a business (just register for a business name).
The credit will not show up on you personal credit report.
I don't know the exact details on how to register a business (anyone can).
No previous credit is required and the card companies do not do a credit check on you, cause the card is for a business.
Credit is obtainable even for brand new, just opened business'.

Surf this site and surf the web for "tom kish"
You might pick up some tid-bits of info , enough that you won't need to purchase his course.
Then surf the web on how to open a business and get licensed (anyone can).
Then surf the web for business credit card companies and research what is obtainable.
I learned about this through a webinar having nothing to do with real estate.
The instructor had Thomas Kish on as a speaker and everything he said is highly plausible.
Good luck.
