Check your local vet! They can give you a prescription & advice on where to buy.

I've used 1800petmeds.com and petsriptions.com both are very good and cheaper than the vet. You do not need a prescription, you put in your vet info and the company will call your vet and ask if it is ok to send you this medicine. For example if you want heartguard, your dog has to have been tested at some point for heartworm by your vet and test negative for you to be able to get a prescription. But the company does all the work of getting one, its much cheaper and easier.

UH...1-800-petmeds has prescription items. But, as with all prescription meds, you need a script from the vet first.

easily it relies upon on the place you reside. Heartworms are very common in Texas yet you rarely ever see them in California (in my opinion i think of this is a waste of money to have them on HW meds in Southern Cali). because of the fact the come from mosquitos and this is wintry climate you may get away with out it longer. however the Vet I worked for could retest your puppy if for heartworms if 3 months have elapsed. For the cost, It relies upon on what sort of meds you're giving for heartworm too, there are some types that combination flea stuff in with it which could be greater decrease priced than figuring out to purchase it one after the different. stable luck and that i could basically call the Vet and clarify, they might desire to offer you the ideal answer.

Some vets will match the price that websites offer (1800petmeds, etc) so that you buy from the vet's office. With all of the counterfeit drugs out there, I would consider getting the meds from the vet if they will match the online price.
