I freeze in the winter time, but I do not like coffee. I don't think it is good for you and it gives you yuck breath. Is there a good hot beverage that warms you up and is also good for you?

Yes -- TEA!!! Good old Lipton tea is good for you because it's mostly Black Pekoe Tea, which is high in antioxidants. Hot Green Tea is also good for you. Hot apple cider is not as good for you as tea, but it's better for you than soft drinks.

Recent studies show that two or three cups of coffee a day is good for you. But another good hot drink I like is herbal tea. Just about all of the celestial seasonings brand teas are good. Green tea is also good for you.

How about hot tea instead of coffee? Things like hot cider (non-alcoholic), especially if it's spiced, can be good as well. I use hot spiced cider (unsweetened) to help warm up my throat for voice lessons :-)

Broth or soup can also be a good choice, as is instant bullion in your choice of flavors. You can get the kind that is low in sodium, and it tastes very nice.

Tea, broth or if you are really, really cold a hot toddy - a little run in your tea. That should warm you up!

Green tea. Jasmine tea is my fave. They have this slimming tea in most asian stores, and it's a natural laxative, and it's supposed to help you lose weight and boost your metabolism.

I hear Green tea is very beneficial to your health and you can add a little honey or lemon to sweeten it a little.
