I believe so but you should contact MN.dnr.org or give them a call. It is my understanding that one with a felony CANNOT OWN a FIREARM (which includes: HANDGUN, RIFLE or SHOTGUN).

I dont know, but if you find out, let us all know. I know that in Utah, if you have a felony on your record, you cant have a bow.
I hear that some states allow a felon to hunt, only with a bow. I dont know.

But I do know this. I will just become a poacher. Give me no way to hunt, and I will poach. So be it. I hear they even want to take away fishing too. I say if you have done your time and Paid your debt to society, you should be able to hunt again, at least with a bow.

Yes if you live in the state of Minnesota and you are a convicted felon you can bow hunt just can't muzzle load or any kind of fire arm. That includes the use of a pellet rifle dumb I know but that's the law. Already checked into it with the local authorities and fish and game.

Make sure to take your hunter's safety course, if he hasn't already.

If you need to take it, tell them you are a felon, and bring an air rifle when you have your range day. You won't be allowed to touch any firearms.
