How would you know what Christ looks like? Just because an artist imagined him as some northern European? I'm sure your being facetious though, in which case you might want to look at pictures of some of the roman gods, Christianity is so not in right now.

No. Your beliefs should be baised upon what you want to believe and what you feel is true to your heart. Not the fact that your son just happens to look like Christ. You could probably say that about hundreds of kids in this world. Who knows if that's what Christ really looks like anyway?

he may look like the paintings but how do we know that that is the face of christ?
the paintings have been done over and over again.
just because he looks like him isnt really a reason to become a beliver i say let your self decide are you doing it because what your son looks like or because god is calling you to his services.

LOL!! haha, well i think that you should become a believer regardless whether your son looks like Jesus. Jesus probably didn't have blonde hair and blue eyes, he wasn't black either.... he was tan from the middle east most certainly.... is your son isreali/arabic looking?

The paintings of Christ look nothing like what Jesus probably looked like (which is no accident).
Btw, God draws people to him, not unto him. Ignore those who want to put you off him.

Base your belief off of your son's looks? He might look like the gerber baby too, go worship them while youre at it.

Yes...you should.
God commands that EVERYONE repent and beleive.
...and the means by which God uses to draw people unto Him are varied...and often quite amazing.
And though you mock, yet I pray the Lord open your eyes and reveal Himself to you.

You should know that artistic works depicting Jesus are a rendering of the artist's imagination, NOT the true portrait of the real-life Christ!!
