Of course this is on Fox News. First, it's about sex. Second, it slams Massachusetts by predicting that it will be the first state that will legalize human-robot marriage. (This is absolutelty rediculous! Marriage, as a civil institution, is granted for property/estate planning, life/death decisionmaking, parenting, workplace benefits, and tax consequences. None of these would apply to a "marriage" with a robot. Until AI is so advanced that the beings could be considered "sentient" (see the movie AI or Star Trek: TNG) or a "species.")
Third, the source is stupid. It's a Ph.D. candidate (no discussion of WHAT the Ph.D. is in) doing a silly thesis.
It's a funny, interesting story, but it's presented in a completely biased, slanted manner.
Grr. Fox News.
