I understand exactly how you feel. I have been with the same man for 5 years. Two years ago he cheated on me with MY BEST FRIEND. I came home from work and there they were. I beat her so bad she had to go to the hospital and for some stupid reason, I stayed with him. Now we have a new baby daughter in the middle of all the mistrust and the relationship is on its last leg. But I can totally understand why you are with a woman. You just want to be loved- truely loved! And really only another woman knows what another woman wants and needs. But yes all man are doggs!! If i leave this one, I rather be single forever than go back through all the heartache again.

Aisha, sad that you were not lucky enough to find a man that could be trusted. But fact of life is that it works the same way for both sexes. Like yourself I have been burnt in many relationships with females. But I was lucky enough to have met the woman whom I married 5 months ago and feel very secure in knowing that she and I will be united to death do us part. Perhaps someday later in life you too will be lucky enough to find a male, or one find you, that you can have an open and honest relationship with too. If not at least you have found yourself a partner with whom to share your good and bad times. Please do not turn into a male basher however and just look at these past experiences as life lessons and hopefully learn from them. Yeah I have found that is how most lesbians come to be. They get tired of the way men are and the go to the same sex, but I dont understand why? I think I would just be single if it came to that point for me b/c whos to say that a female wont do you the same.
