'A knight was given a message for the King to take across the large expanse of land and sea till he reached the King's kingdom. The knight rode across hot deserts... blistering snow... cold rain... until he reached the King's fortress. He arrived on Wednesday and stay 10 days. He left on Wednesday.'

He must have travelled beyond the King's fortress for 4 days in between, before his return from King's fortress. Or he must have started on Wednesday from his take off place and reached King's fortress in 4 days and returned immediately, i.e., on Wednesday.

I would suppose it was because the name of the steed that he rode was Wednesday. I think this same question has been asked before in different formats. However, I liked this one because it has to do with knights and kings and the such.
