You mean system organs failure? When an organ could no longer or fails to do its function effectively,it is in failure. OK, let me to name some of the organ failure and their remedies:
>> Renal failure - the kidneys could no longer filter wastes from the blood effectively so the remedy is having a kidney (renal) dialysis, and at later stage remedy will be a renal transplantation.
>>Congestive Cardiac or Heart Failure - the heart could not function effectively to pump the sufficient amount of blood due to fluid congestion so the remedy will be decreasing the fluids and enhancing its functions with the use of medications, and diet modifications, decreasing salt intake, etc.
>>Liver or Hepatic Failure - The liver is severely damaged that it could not effectively do its normal synthetic and metabolic functions. Remedy would be symptomatic treatment of the different conditions of its consequences. Liver transplantation would be the ultimate remedy in chronic cases.
>>Respiratory Failure- it is a serious condition of the failure of the respiratory processes. Remedy would be an artificial ventilator.

Organ failure could also mean multiple organs failing to work one after another or altogether.Remedy would be confinement in an intensive care unit with an extensive medical management and treatments.

Failure of what?

Since this is medicine, I am assuming you are talking about a bodily system or an organ, but you need to be more specific.
