Iver Johnson make very cheap handguns and shotguns from the late 19th-the mid 20th century. None of their guns are really collector's pieces, since they are of such low quality. Value would be less than $50.

No serial number would put it being manufactured before 1968. As was said Iver Johnson shotguns were made for the Hardware Store trade and were mostly sold to farmers who couldn't afford a more expensive gun. If you could give us a little more info such as condition of the stock, percentage of blue still in existence, any damage to the gun such as cracked butt plate, dented barrel, scratched stock, we could come closer to a value.
But you do not have a collector piece. You have a tool that did the job and is generally only worth the value of any used tool. JD can look it up but will need more information on it.

You're missing a lot of information. What cartridge does it use? What kind of gun is it- revolver, shotgun, rifle? Iver Johnson was a budget gun manufacturer, so most of the guns aren't worth much. The average Iver Johnson revolver, unless it's an incredibly rare one, is probably worth about $150-$250, depending on the buyer.

Iver Johnson manufactured a "Champion" Model Single Shot Shotgun 26-32" Full Choke Barrel,Exposed Hammer/Auto Ejector,Plain Pistol Grip Stock. Manufactured between 1909-1956
These were also mass produced for Montgomery Wards Retail stores under the "Western Field" brand, as well as being manufactured by Cooey Firearms in Canada under license from Iver Johnson.

Because these firearms were mass produced as sargeARMY has already told you, they have no real collectors value as they were designed as a "working mans" gun......

Values are based by percentage of original finish and overall condition of the firearm as listed.

90% Condition $150
80% " $125
70% " $100
60% " $ 75

Values are current market value for the above listed firearm, for October 2007 and are subject to change

If it was once owned by VP Dick Cheney it would be priceless.*
