The potato salad recipe on the inside of the Best Foods mayo jar isn't bad.

Pasta salad: boil your pasta (the swirled ones) & run under cold water. Add some olives, celery, some mushrooms, or whatever you fancy, and some italian salad dressing. It's quite yummy.

I think all potato salad is good. I like this one:

2 large Idaho potatoes scrubbed
1/4 cup french or thousand island dressing
chopped onion
chopped green bell pepper
1 hard boiled egg chopped
1/4 cup mayo
1 tsp. mustard (I usually end up using a tablespoon instead)
salt and pepper to taste

Boil your whole potatoes in water for 30 minutes. Drain, rinse with cold water and gently peel off the skin. Comes off easily if you 'start' it with a butter knife. Chop your potatoess and add everything else. You will find that depending on the size or starchiness of you potatoe you may need to adjust some of your ingredients. I've been making this for so long I just dump everything in. :)

Well do you mean pasta salad or potato salad as they do not go well together, any way

boil potatoes until soft but hard enough not to break up (with salt )
put into a bowl (once drained )
add one finely chopped onion,a bunch of finely chopped parsley,a 4 desert spoons vinegar, and olive oil to your liking must coat the potatoes well and season with more salt if ness and a little black pepper. ENJOY its fab.
PASTA SALAD
boil pasta al dente.
rinse and cool put in to a bowl with sweetcorn, finely chopped onion, finely chopped parsley, tin of tuna in water (but drained ), and finally add mayonnaise to your liking yummy.

this one is good

Potato Salad
Recipe Ingredients:

1 – pound red potato
1 – hard boiled egg, finely chopped
1 – large celery rib, finely chopped
1/2 – cup mayonnaise or Miracle Whip
1/2 small onion, finely chopped
1/8 – teaspoon yellow mustard

Cookware and Utensils:

1 – Large Boiling Pot
1 - Small Boiling Pot
1 – Large Serving Bowl With Lid
1 - Stirring spoon
1 – Knife

Recipe Instructions:

As always, the key to great cooking is to be prepared and to use quality ingredients.

Start of by rinsing potatoes thoroughly under running water. While rinsing, gently scrub potatoes to remove dirt.

Place potatoes into a large pot and cover with at least two inches of cold water. Bring water to rolling boil and cook potatoes until tender. Don’t allow the water to boil out. Once potatoes are done remove from heat, pour out water and allow to cool before peeling. Go ahead and clean your large pot because you will use it later to mix up your potato salad.

Place eggs into a small pot, add cold water and bring to boil over medium-high heat. Cook eggs until done. Remove eggs from heat, add cold water and allow to cool before chopping.

Now that the potatoes have cooled, peel them and mash them up one at a time into your large pot. Add celery, eggs, onion, mayonnaise and mustard. Mix all of the ingredients together thoroughly. Start with the exact measurements and adjust to your desired taste, if necessary. If you must go ahead and add salt and pepper to taste.

Spoon the combined mixture into a suitable size bowl with lid. Cover and refrigerate. Serve potato salad cold.

My son's favorite is:
Tri color pasta with wishbone Italian dressing, diced tomato and shredded cheese.

Actually you can use any of your favorite raw veggies - cucumber, carrots, green onions, squash, zucchini, mushrooms, etc.

Also great with cubed cooked chicken, sandwich meats or pepperoni.

This is a great clean out the fridge recipe!
