Well being a Muslim I will really get mad and upset with those who will insult and laugh on Islam I’m sure that any Muslim can’t bear this.
But I will try to control my self as anger is friend of Satan so I will try not to loose my temper.
Because I remember we read in our URDU books in school times that Kuffar was laughing at Holy Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) and was use to place the thorn and smoldering coal on his way from where he was passing but still he was praying for them (O Allah please forgave them as they don’t now who I AM and showed them the right way)
So as always I am writing in my mostly answers about those who are really insulting Islam, Holy Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) and laughing at Allah (SWT) I will say only one thing that
O Allah Please show them the right way. Or else I will say them that if oh non believers if you will get aware what you are doing you will really not forgave your self as you really don’t know what you are doing and saying.
That’s sure that I will cry too much as it’s really hurts me inside when some one is saying any thing against Islam

Assalamu Alaikum
i of course will get mad. and the other hand i will be patient. the Prophet PBUH got insulted and Allah was insulted and His religion. the Prophet was patient. it didnt stop him from spreading the message. i will forgive the person or i wouldnt care. Allah will show His rath , He will scare them, and will make Hell Fire thier home for ever. i wouldnt ever insult another religion because Allah forbidden that. think about it would u like when a person insults ur religion . then how would that person feel if u insulted thier religion. plus if u insult thier religion it will gain more enemys for Islam (we already have more than enough enemys). i will try to comprimise with the person, and see if he/she will like thier religion to be insulted, themselves , thier God , and thier most dearest thing. and i will asked them politely to stop insulting my religion.
Wassalmu Alaikum.

I am not muslim but I feel that any person can feel insult when another makes fun of your religion. I think that you just need to explain your beliefs to the person. They might not agree but maybe they can at least understand. If the person still will not stop insulting you it is best to walk away from that person. You don't need negativity in your life. If you are rude back to them you are just acting like them.

i suppose when such thing happens i will first thank the person who has insulted, thank him to be curious about islam. cause usually when these things what the other is expecting is u either insult him back or ignore him. i wint do any. instead once i thank him and i will tell him thanku for asking about islam and start giving him information in small doses so he understands and comprehends them

an insult is an insult, and it is a show of ignorance for the person who doesn't understand others religion, and it is always better to just walk away and not step down to their level in life while we are here.

It depends on situation. If im living in western country i would ignore them. If im living in middle east country, i may report them or ignore them depending on the country im living in.
I prefer ingorance because who insult usually are not respectfull people who doesnt deserve to waste time with.

assalaam-u-alaikum,
No doubt that we all and everything that our eyes are capable of seeing and cannot see are created by that ONE creator. however, islam is islam because of the invaluable teachings of our and ALLAH'S beloved PROPHET MUHAMMAD(P.B.U.H). We trusted HIM(P.B.U.H) and build our faith on the basis of that trust, otherwise none of us have personally seen or heard or got any message from ALLAH. If you have been lucky enough to have read HIS(P.B.U.H) biography, you will realise an exceptional level of grace, dignity and tolerance in HIS(P.B.U.H) aweinspiring and indelible character. People might have been after HIS(P.B.U.H) life for bringing in this new religion and shaking the base of their fake practices but no one EVER succeeded in finding any faults with HIS(P.B.U.H) character. Rather that was something they were highly impressed with. Even HIS(P.B.U.H) enemies swore by HIS(P.B.U.H) honesty and integrity. Before HIS(P.B.U.H) PROPHETHOOD was declared HE(P.B.U.H) was addressed by all as 'AL-AMEEN". HE(P.B.U.H) was truly a symbol of purity of ALLAH and had all the best characteristics of all the previous PROPHETS(P.B.U.T) in HIM(P.B.U.H). Little wonder then, that HE(P.B.U.H) was called BEST OF ALL PROPHETS(P.B.U.T). When he would approach people for tableegh, they would misbehave, insult and pass such heart wrenching comments about HIM(P.B.U.H). such an experience would be enough to tear anyone of us apart and deviate us from goal, but HE(P.B.U.H) never gave up. HIS(P.B.U.H) ever forgiving nature would always take HIS(P.B.U.H) enemies by surprise and they were only compelled to bend before HIM(P.B.U.H). I feel we don't need any body else to teach us how to handle criticism. HE(P.B.U.H) is the greatest source for us to refer to. To sum up your answer i'll try to do everything HE(P.B.U.H) did, explain, communicate and tolerate. violence was never a taught by HIM(p.b.u.h), hence i don't have reason to adopt that.
ALLAH HAFIZ

Id try to be as patient as prophet muhammed(saw) was when ppl used to insult him and islam. its hard to not get angry when someone insults ur religion but its best to stay calm and reason with them, coz insulting them back would just give them an excuse to say we are "intolerant".

Anyone who believes in a higher power, regardless of religion, should be tolerant of others opinions. If someone insults your religion, be forgiving, show your capacity for endurance, and lead by example.

We Muslims r NOT allowed to insult prophets, NOT allowed to insult other religions, NOT allowed to desecration any holy place or holy book whatever it was
Most Muslims react through reasoning & explanation
BUT
Don't forget that the results of " pressure " are NOT good
So i am asking people here :
Please DON'T insult us ( Muslims ), treat us with respect as we treat u with respect
So Muslims welcome any person who wanna ask & know more about Islam,
NOT the persons who has NOTHING to do but insulting & ruining picture of Islam
Thanks
