You know, Mormon beliefs may be as ridiculous as Christian beliefs (pretending to eat the flesh and blood of Jesus), but if you look at the Mormons, it is obvious that the majority of them live their lives at a higher standard than many "real" Christians. We are what we DO, not what we believe! To paraphrase, I DO; therefore I am.

God the Father is God, the creator of our spirits, See Hebrews 12:9) and there is His only begotten Son, the Savior Jesus Christ, and also the Holy Ghost. All three make up the Godhead and are three separate personages. Yet, they are also "one" in purpose which is to bring to pass the eternal life and immortality of mankind.
We as mortals strive to live our lives in harmony with the principles of Christ's gospel and in so doing can receive of Christ's grace and atonement therefore being able to live eternally, becoming immortal ourselves.
By becoming immortal, is that not godlike?

There are God the Father! God the Son! The Holy ghost, who testifies to the existence of the other Two!
God the Father is flesh and bone! God the son, Jesus Christ is flesh and bone! The Holy Ghost is spirit to reach all of mankind!
What is so hard to believe about that? And that is their belief, not mine! but, this is what I was taught~!

There could be millions - who knows?
The ONLY God we worship is our Heavenly Father. So for us, one. I believe that we will have the chance to progress and become like our Heavenly Father...so if HE is a god, and we can become LIKE him...in my mind that means there is a possibility of lots of gods out there. But, who really knows. All I know for SURE is that I worship and love my Heavenly Father, through His Son, Jesus Christ.
Thanks.

Well - I don't know if there is a specific answer for how many gods (little g) are out there, according to the teachings of the LDS church, that is what they are striving for.

there may be lots of 'gods' (small g) - the bible talks about that, but for the mormon religion and the link you provided - there is one God, His Son Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost.
your link indicated: "They are three separate Gods, but are called one God, in that they are one in purpose" and that is where the disagreement comes in - they are three separate entities - yes. They are not called one God by LDS religion. they are called the Godhead - the governing body.

I don't know and I don't care.
God never said how many.
God DID say, worship only ME.
So, I don't worry abouto how many and just concentrate on THE ONE.

There's god the father, his only begotten son, Jesus, and the holy spirit. One of whom is a god.
However, and pay close attention - all of us can become gods.
That makes no sense does it????
