tuna is a healthy snack, i believe. it also tastes good and its cheap and easy to prepare. why would people go around writing on bathroom stalls and mirrors or other people in general saying tuna kills? i dont get it? what is this hogwash?

catching tuna used to kill dolphins, but now fishermen use dolphin safe nets so it's not as big a problem. eating too much tuna can harm you because of the mercury in the tuna. pollutants cause a buildup of mercury in lots of seafood.

Tuna is killing fish and other water-based animals (harvesting them in nets that take all water animals and whatnot)... but I think it's because most people are concerned about the toxins in the oceans where tuna live. The levels of Mercury, PCBs, Lead, etc that may be trace amounts, but if you eat a lot of tuna, they can build up in your system.

Honestly, I've read major reports on both aspects of tuna, so it could be either one.

It has nothing to do with eating tuna, but catching the tuna. Some companies use fishing techniques that do not discriminate species.

In short, certain techniques of tuna fishing kill more than tuna.
