Chop off a limb. Tell me how do you lose weight without proper diet and exercise? Go chop off that limb.

If a person doesn't want to give up on food and fizzy drinks but still wants to lose weight, he may decide on burning off the excess calories through exercise. Exercise doesn't have to be something boring like running on a treadmill. You can get into a fun sport like basketball, tennis or football. If you don't like sports, you can get lots of exercise from dancing. You could sign up for dancing lessons. Irish ceili dancing burns a lot of calories and it's fun. Swimming is another great idea for exercise and swimming is a lot easier on the joints than other activities.

There are lots of ways to enjoy foods without eating the worse things. Find all the good stuff that has the least calories. It takes a lot of exercise to burn off one wrong thing that's eaten. I will say this though, if you exercise regularly, what you eat will matter less in terms of weight gain. When you start exercising more, you may have to actually eat more to make up for the execise. This overweight person may enjoy that.

Well, this is a tough question. Discipline is very important in this case. I wont actually say that food is the main cause. I eat a lot since young and i am still underweight (28 yrs old). Overweightness could also be due to the family genes.

Anyway, i have this friend who is terribly fat. She grinds the bittergourd and drinks everyday. She has lost a few kilos. You may try if you want. Seriously, i am not sure if it is healthy. You may want to consult a dietian before trying it.

Rather than eating lots eat portions not too big you can eat 4 meals a day and lose weight as long as you dont binge on chocolate after meals.
As for fizzy juice, dont stop all together just reduce your daily intake.
also a good thing to buy is grapes, this is because if you feel peckish grab a small bunch of grapes in replace of chocolate, you dont need to stop eating sweets altogether, just limit what and when your eating sweets.
also dont eat before you go to bed, if you go to bed at about 10pm dont eat after 8pm, this is because you are not burning much off when your sleeping, and lastly you do need to exercise, even if you walk for 30 mins a day or give your house a good clean.

You say that this is a serious question, yet the person concerned does not want to go on a diet and give up fizzy drinks....... This person is obviously NOT serious about losing weight.

Eat healthier food and find healthier "fizzy" drinks. Also, you will have to get up and move around, exercise a little at least.

Try exercising and becoming more active to burn calories. Or you could try eating healthier alternatives to bad fatty foods. Try eating raisins or dried apricots, which are both full of carbohydrates and fibre to help keep you sustained for longer and less likely to snack during the day. Have a healthy breakfast like Alpen which is full of fibre.

get a life!

You dont have to give up on food - healthy food doesnt have to taste crap, and in my opinion healthy food is far tastier than junk food and ready meals. Id much rather have something healthy and home cooked when I get home than something processed and full of fat. I think you just need to retrain your taste buds away from the fatty, salty junk foods.

Lots of exercise and just have smaller portions of things you like. Give your luxuries as a treat. ie. a biscuit after 10 minutes walk etc. There are no magic tricks.
