what is the consequenseses of normal postage.

Depends on what you are mailing. If it is an expensive item, get the insurance. There is no guarantee that goes with normal mailing except it usually gets to it's destination. A little more info would have been helpful.

yes its safe...i ship crap all the time and use the cheapest way..never trouble in 40 years...maybe im just lucky but thats life.
