All 100% fruit juices are good for children. They just should not fall asleep with it at night if they are still on the bottle, and you have to make sure their teeth are properly cleaned before they go to bed. The acids in the juice are not so great for little teeth, but that should not keep you from letting your kids drink what nature provides. Juice is a great way to make sure they are getting their five-a-day of fruit and veg.

A while back, an apple flavored drink containing only fructose, water and flavoring was labeled apple juice. No apple came close to it. And, it was distributed by a major supplier of infant foods.

Natural juices are good, but about four ounces per day should suffice for a toddler. Some toddlers have a tendency to become "juice-aholics", thereby getting a diet high in carbohydrates but low in fat and protein. This is not healthy for a growing child. Plus, it can promote cavities in the teeth. It can also lead to obesity. Then there is the issue of "sloppy stools," frequent tacky BM's that some toddlers get, often as a result of sorbitol in commercial juices.

Juice isn't bad for kids as long as they're not having too much of it, and as long as it's pure fruit juice. It's actually a great way to get vitamins and minerals into kids. But I wouldn't exceed a small cup or 2.
